I am going to write another blog post today. This is about two personalities whose works are close to my heart. One is Lakshmi, who studied at Mithila Art Insitiute, Madhubani and was working for nearly two years. I know the competence of the teachers teaching at MAI. The nomenclature of a particular article have some logical reason behind it. I too have a reason to name it with the word “Mithila.” Though this painting is also known as ‘Madhubani painting, due to its artistic influence. But if I name it with the word “Madhubani”, it will be unfair for the artists of other areas and it will also be contradictory with the historical point of view now the word is representing the overall place of artists completely.

Writing after a long time, taken out some time for the thing which I love to do : blogging. I am not an influencial blogger but whatever I am writing today is having a special purpose- A step towards giving Maithili cinema an international recognition. I don't know much about cinema but I have not seen a Maithili movie after 'Sasta Jinagi Mahag Senur' directed by Balkrishna Jha jee, having a good story showing our culture and having a clean tag. One of the interesting aspect about the Raja Janak is that he has been shown as the Father of Sita(Vaidehi) in Ramayan but not much is said about his Vedhehi State(Avastha). It is later on Ved Vyas said in the Baghwat. We have to see the interdependency of these two Rishis in these aspects. The character Janak is introduced in Ramayan but its detailed staus is described by VedVyas. So to understand Janak, we must take the Vedhehi katha from the VedVyas.
